Polyester (PET) strapping is a premium plastic banding material manufactured from polyethylene terephthalate — the same base polymer used in high-strength industrial fibers. It is the closest plastic alternative to steel strapping in terms of physical performance, offering high tensile strength, excellent elongation recovery, and resistance to rust, UV exposure, and weathering.

- Stronger than polypropylene (PP):  can be tensioned up to 25% higher with equivalent break strengths.
